The Foundation for Polish Science announced the winners of the competition in the START 2024 program. Among them was a scientist from MUB: Dr. Łukasz Suprewicz, who received a scholarship in the field of medical biology. Congratulations!
Dr Łukasz Suprewicz is the Graduate of the Medical University of Białystok, laboratory diagnostician. Author and co-author of over twenty publications in international journals. His research focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms of interactions between proteins, pathogens and immune response cells. Principal investigator of the PRELUDIUM 21 project, research team member in the PRELUDIUM BIS 1 grant, headed by prof. Robert Bucki.
A total of 100 outstanding young scientists will receive prestigious scholarships. This year, the scholarships were awarded for the 32nd time.
The START program of the Foundation for Polish Science is the oldest scholarship program in Poland for the best young scientists representing all fields of science. Its aim is to support outstanding young scientists and encourage them to pursue further scientific development. The winners of the START program in the 2024 edition will receive an annual scholarship of PLN 30,000.
