Three medical students from Hamamatsu University School of Medicine in Japan, with which the Medical University of Bialystok has had a bilateral agreement since 2004, came to undertake student internships. The clinics that agreed to host the students:
- Department of Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine
- 2nd Department of Lung Diseases, Lung Cancer and Internal Medicine
- Department of Thoracic Surgery
- Department of Orthopedics, Traumatology and Hand Surgery
The International Cooperation Department encourages its students to participate in international internship programmes.
