Hybrid Imaging is a part of course of Diagnostic Imaging. Sylabus is available in Department of Radiology.
Hybrid Imaging is multimodal imaging consist of two diagnosics techniques.
PET/MRI is one of the newest multiparametric molecular imaging method. Whole-body PET (positron emissom tomography) and MRI (magnetic resonance imaging ) is simultaneously performed. To get PET images the injection of radiotraces is required.
The most frequent indications to PET/MR are oncologcal diseases, but also cariological, neurological disordres and inflammations.
Independent Laboratory of Molecular Imaging MUB is equipped in PET/MR 3T scanner (Biograph mMR).
