• Biochemical identification, determination and evaluation of the diagnostics usefulness of hematopoietic cytokines (SCF, IL-3, GM-CSF, G-CSF, M-CSF), enzymes (ADH, ALDH) and markers of chronic ethanol abuse (CDT, SA).
• Since creation of the Departament in 1984, 343 scientific papers were published, 159 of tchem were registered in Current contents with                                  Impact of Factor =254,982
• Scientific Staff presented 258 reports on international and internal congresses conferences and symposiums
• between 1984-2013 in the Departament 180 master's theses, 29 doctoral dissertations and 5 postdoctoral dissertations were presented as well as 3 personels got the profesor title.
