What is the character maximum for the abstract?
The character maximum for the abstract is 2500 characters, including spaces.
Can I modify my abstract after its submission?
No, after the abstract is sent for review you won’t be able to make any changes to its content. Therefore, after uploading and before submitting it make sure to check whether it contains any mistakes.

What is the registration fee ?
The conference registration is free of charge for both active and passive participants.
Which types of scientific papers are eligible for application? And which papers are not eligible?
Any kind of scientific work done by a student of medical university or faculty can be submitted as long as it is original and related to medical sciences.
Review papers will be disqualified.
What are the guidelines for presenting a research work?
The work should be presented by one of its authors.
Regular oral presentation should take 7 minutes for presentation and 3 minutes for discussion. Presenter of a case report has 5 minutes for presentation and 2 minutes for discussion. Please take notice of the time, because your presentation will be interrupted when you exceed the specified time frame.
When will the conference take place and where?
18^th Białystok International Medical Congress for Young Scientists will be held on 10^th-12^th May 2024 at the Educational-Scientific Center, the Faculty of Health Sciences, Medical University of Białystok, Szpitalna Street 37
(see the localization).
What is the official language of the Congress?
English is the official language of the Congress.
What does "active and passive participants" mean? What is the difference between the types of participation?
Active participants take an active part in scientific sessions by presenting their scientific work; they compete for prizes with other active participants. After the presentation they are awarded with Paper Presentation Certificate. Active participants are free to attend all lectures, workshops and the social programme.
Passive participants may attend all lectures, workshops, the social programme and all scientific sessions during the Congress. During reception at the conference venue they receive Participation Certificates.
How can I register for the conference?
All participants register via registration form available through our system. While filling in the form, you must choose the type of participation – passive or active. Registration will be complete, when you receive the confirmation of registration to your email box – make sure the email address you’ve given is correct. If the registration process is successful, your personal account will be ready for you to use.
Active participants should upload their abstracts through our system and submit it for review. After abstract submission you should get confirmation from our system.
How do I submit my abstract(s)?
The only way for submitting an abstract is through our website. From one account (and one email adress) only one abstract can be submitted. To submit another abstract you should use another email account. Abstracts sent via email will not be taken into consideration.
When is the deadline for abstract submission?
The deadline for submitting an abstract is ~~April 30^th~~ 6 MAY 2024, until 23:59.
