ORGANIZATION OF CLASSES IN THE DEPARTMENT OF INVASIVE CARDIOLOGY IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2023/2024

Exercises and seminars are held from 8:00 to 11:45 am.

The online seminar on Blackboard starts at 8:00 AM: https://umbedu.blackboard.com/. The seminars are prepared and transmitted  for the students having classes in the Department of Cardiology and the Department of Invasive Cardiology.

Each student will receive an e-mail with an activation link to the platform from the Department of Modern Education Methods and Techniques (in Polish: Dział Nowoczesnych Metod i Technik Kształcenia UMB) which is required to obtain the access to the seminars. Groups practicing early in winter semester will receive the above e-mails soon. In case of problems with access, please contact blackboard@umb.edu.pl.

After the seminar, we meet at the Department of Cardiology or the Department of Invasive Cardiology for the classes that will be conducted in a stationary form. Students at the Department of Cardiology are required to wear medical uniforms and to cover their mouth and nose with masks.

On the 9th day of the block, there is a written test in a stationary form, separate for each of the Departments. Students from the Department of Invasive Cardiology gather together for this purpose at 8:00 in the Department of Invasive Cardiology,  seminar room.

As part of the classes, each group will have one class at the Medical Simulation Center (Szpitalna Street 30) from 10: 00-11.45 am. The groups will be informed about the date of the simulation by their assistants. In the Medical Simulation Center, students must have a medical suit or white gown, shoes to change and a stethoscope. During classes, you can use various teaching tools.

Lectures are held online via the Blackboard platform.
