The Main Library of the Medical University of Bialystok, set in the magnificent Branicki Palace, was opened in June 1950. The University Library offers traditional library services, assistance with students' education and facilitating scientific research. It is currently the largest medical library in northeastern Poland, covering the Podlaskie and Warmińsko-Mazurskie administrative regions.
The Library accommodates and delivers books, newspapers, magazines, journals, and special collections to the academic community and the general public. You can borrow books from the lending library, or read them on the premises, in the reading room for students. The library has PC workstations and photocopiers to assist students with their work. Cutting-edge digital information dissemination and distribution methods are implemented on an ongoing basis.
