Conditions for obtaining credit:
1. On all seminars, students will be given ratings. Negative rating can be improved on the next seminar.
2. Final credit is planned for the last seminar.

Topics:
SEMINAR I
Genesis, objectives and tasks of public health. Methods for assessing the demographic structure and health of individuals and populations. Current health situation of the world population and predictions on the functioning of health care systems.
SEMINAR II
Regulations concerning the medical experiment and other medical research. Organization of the healthcare systems at national and global levels.
SEMINAR III
Health promotion principles, tasks and main lines of action and health education, with particular emphasis on the role of healthy lifestyle. Strategies and health programmes - planning, methodology, implementation and evaluation of promotional activities in relation to the health of the population.
SEMINAR IV
Systems of sanitary and epidemiological supervision. Prevention of civilization diseases. The Polish National Health Programme.
SEMINAR V
Mental health hygiene, addictions. Credit.
