Accessibility declaration
The Medical University of Bialystok undertakes to ensure the accessibility of its mobile application in accordance with the provisions of the Act of 4 April 2019 on digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities. The accessibility statement applies to the myMUB mobile app www.umb.edu.pl/en/mymub.

The myMUB mobile app is partially compliant with the Digital Accessibility of Public Entity Websites and Mobile Applications Act due to the following inconsistencies or exclusions:
- Certain elements of the application may have too little contrast.
- Due to the large amount of content in the application, a situation may occur when alternate texts have not been added to photographs and graphic elements and alternate texts for photographs/graphic elements are repeated.
- The downloadable documents made available in the app are not digitally available in most cases. Every effort is made to ensure that the files uploaded to the app are available digitally.
- The application may have a disrupted headings’ hierarchy.
- There are no one-letter keyboard shortcuts available.

Requests for making non-accessible information available as well as requests for ensuring accessibility can be made through the same channels.
Anyone has the right to request digital accessibility of a website, mobile application or any element thereof. It is also possible to request access to information in alternative forms, for example, having a digitally inaccessible document read, having the content of a video without an audio description described, etc. The request should include the identity of the person making the request, an indication of the website or mobile application in question and contact details. If the requesting person indicates a need to receive the information in an alternative form, he or she should also specify the form of that information.
The public entity should comply with the request immediately and no later than within 7 days. If it is not possible to comply with this time limit, the public entity shall, without delay, inform them, when it will be possible to comply with the request, whereby the deadline shall not be longer than 2 months. If accessibility cannot be ensured, the public entity may propose an alternative means of accessing the information.
If an entity refuses to comply with a request to provide accessibility or alternative access to information, a complaint regarding that action may be filed.
After all options have been exhausted, the complaint may also be sent to the Commissioner for Human Rights.

The seat of the Medical University of Bialystok is located in the Branicki Palace.
Main building of the Branicki Palace:
There are 2 entries to the building: from the front from the Palace courtyard (main entrance) and from the Branicki Gardens (official entrance). Stairs lead to both entrances. There are 4 steps at the front of the building and 3 steps at the back of the building.
The entrance for guests is located in the courtyard of the Branicki Palace. After the main entrance there is a corridor with internal mats of a minimum manoeuvring area of 150 x 150 cm. To the hall leads a door from the corridor. There are stairs with 2 steps in the hall. A cloakroom is located straight ahead.
The reception is located in the hall on the left side of the entrance (phone number: +48 85 748 5428).
The corridors allow free two-way traffic. In the hall next to the reception are located benches to rest.
There are three floors in the building. There is no elevator in the building. There is a hall and rooms on the ground floor for people in wheelchairs. To the second floor lead stairs min. 2.4 m wide. On the second floor, on the left and right side, there are places to rest. To the third floor leads two pairs of steep stairs where there is no possibility of free two-way traffic. The toilet for disabled people is located on the ground floor in the hall on the right side (before 2 internal stairs). The toilet door is marked with a pictogram.
Left wing of the Branicki Palace:
To the building leads two entries from the front of the Palace courtyard. Stairs (1-3 steps) lead to both entrances.
First entrance: After entrance there is a vestibule 2.3 m wide and 0.6 m long and further stairs with one step. Stairs lead to the second and third floors. No elevator. No toilets for disabled people.
The Office of the Medical University of Bialystok and the social benefits and loans fund office are located on the ground floor.
Second entrance: After entrance there is a vestibule 1.8 m wide and 1 m long and further stairs with two steps. Stairs lead to the second and third floors. No elevator. No toilets for disabled people.
Right wing of the Branicki Palace: Stairs (1-3 steps) lead to both entrances. After entrance there is a vestibule and further stairs with two steps. Stairs lead to the second and third floors. No elevator. No toilets for disabled people.
The Medical University of Bialystok has a wheelchair stair climber that leads to the second floor and a ramp that can be installed if necessary.
