‘Pro Juvenes’ is an initiative promoting the best and most interesting student initiatives, the most active figures from this community and institutions supporting young people. The winners are selected by students themselves in an online vote (120 000 votes were cast!). This year was already the 12th edition of the ranking.

MUB was nominated in several categories: student media - ‘Młody Medyk’ and CSR Radiosupeł; Student Government Project of the Year - Tea with the Student Government; Student Culture - Cabaret ‘Schodki’; Student Organisation - CoNieCo student club.

During Saturday's gala, the award in the student organisation category was received by CoNieCo manager Stanislaw Businski: ‘We will continue to smack the professors and ourselves with the whip of satire,’ he said when receiving the commemorative statuette.

The CoNieCo club is one of the few places cultivating student culture with a capital ‘S’ and ‘C’. The last bastion of good cabaret, poetry and author's song in this part of Poland. It is a space for people who devote a lot of time to studying extremely difficult medicine, and who find in themselves boundless reserves of creative sensitivity.

Historically, the Club started in 1958. It has always been a place that was vibrant (including socially). The golden period was the 1970s, the difficult moments the 1990s. At that time, student clubs could not withstand the competition from colourful discos and closed down all over the country. ‘CoNieCo’ then changed the formula of its activities - it became more intimate, returned to its roots: author's cabaret (Schodki), evenings with poetry and song (Spotkania pod Schodkami), or reviews of music bands (PKS). The club's address has not changed over the years: the cellar in DS 1 (3 Akademicka Street).Historically, the Club started in 1958. It has always been a place that was vibrant (including socially).
